AdvikPrep (operated by AdvikPrep, contact: help.examiq@gmail.com) collects the minimum data needed to run a free practice-exam community. This policy explains what that is and your rights over it.
1. What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, and (for password accounts) a securely hashed password — we never see or store plain-text passwords. Activity data: your quiz attempts, scores, timing, and generated study insights. Technical data: login-session cookies, theme preference, and basic error logs needed to keep the service running.
2. What we never do
We do not sell your personal data, we do not show third-party advertising, and we collect no payment information (the service is currently free). We access your data only to operate, secure, and improve AdvikPrep, or to comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processors
Your data is processed by a small set of providers, each only for its function: secure database hosting for storing accounts and attempts; Resend for sending account-activation emails; Google for "Continue with Google" sign-in; and Google's Gemini AI models for generating performance insights from your attempt breakdowns. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and security practices.
4. Email verification & communication
We require email verification to prevent fake accounts and protect leaderboards. We email you only for account purposes (activation, security notices, and replies to your requests) — no marketing emails. Activation links expire after 24 hours.
5. Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing help.examiq@gmail.com from your account email; we will act within 30 days. Backups may retain copies for a short period thereafter.
7. Children
AdvikPrep is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be noted by updating the date below. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
